naturally at the end of the year,
you take time to reflect about all that has happened
the good, the bad, the unexpected.
i'm thankful for all the opportunities
to do what i love much more this year - singing
it's like being able to breathe
to have a band of amazing musicians
play to whatever you sing
it is a dream come true
the feeling is something i can't describe
the amazing friendships forged this year
i never thought i could feel this loved
apart from by r,z,l and d
not to mention the people at work
there's so much love
but somehow to be able to taste heaven
you'll definitely need to know how hell is
to love, you must know what pain is
to smile, you must know what sadness is
so i'm thankful Lord for the good
but i'm also thankful for the bad
that showed me how great the good truly is
a tinge of loneliness to amidst all
but i'm gonna try and keep my spirits up
thankfulness, i must have. |
